Persons who wish to pursue an entry level understanding of classical painting will find here a friendly and good environment. This is meant for beginning artists. The instructor is David John Dietrich. Dietrich studied under Internationally known artist Adrian Gottlieb for ten years learning techniques of the old Masters. The studio in Darien will hold a still life painting class once a week on Saturdays from 9:30 AM -12:30 PM. There is room for eight persons per class. You will be provided with an artist's studio easel and mixing palette to use while in class.
The cost of the class is $195.
Your class fee includes the materials you will need to begin painting like a professional. These tools for the artist that are included are three brushes, five tubes of oil paint, a palette knife, a brush cleaner, towels and canvas. Instructions will be provided on good practice on organizing your palette, stretching your own canvas, color mixing and application. David will be available for critique and questions.

Registation is open until September 9th or until we fill the eight openings. Persons must be 18 years of age or older.
